elcome to the section of my site that is dedicated to reviews of the musicals that I have seen. Many of the reviews are for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, since that is my favorite musical. :)

This section is still a work in progress and probably always will be. I didn't write reviews for many of the earlier shows I saw and those will take longer for me to write since I don't remember as much about them. I'm trying to keep current with recently viewed shows so I don't forget things, however.

All of my reviews are of course subjective and based entirely upon my perceptions and opinions - you may or may not agree with them. I have been known to hold unpopular opinions about actors. My basic rule is: I can forgive a weak vocal performance if the the acting is incredible, but I usually don't forgive a weak acting performance even if the actor's voice is incredible. I'm about 85% for the acting and only 15% for the voice. I go to live theater for the acting; if I wanted to hear pretty voices, I could listen to a cast recording and stay home. That isn't to say that I don't love great voices, for I do! An actor who acts incredibly and can sing well makes me very happy indeed. :D My reviews are honest, but I try to be polite at all times.

The image gallery is password protected and I only allow people I know to have the password. No hard feelings, but there's a lot of crazy people out there!
